Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Portvault (the “Service”) is operated by PiTech, a sole proprietorship owned by Julkarnine Rokey, registered in Bangladesh (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication.

3. Acceptable use

You may only connect to systems you own or are authorised to access. You must not use the Service to attack, scan, brute-force or gain unauthorised access to any system; to send spam; to mine cryptocurrency; to proxy traffic for abuse; or to break any law. We may suspend accounts that violate this section without refund.

4. Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis and renew automatically until cancelled. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from Profile → Plan & billing. Your paid features continue until the end of the current billing period and are not renewed after that.

6. Your data

You keep ownership of the data you store in Portvault. You can export or delete your data at any time from your profile. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Open source

Portvault is based on Termix (github.com/Termix-SSH/Termix), licensed under the Apache License 2.0.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
